We are so glad we booked Marie for our maternity and newborn photos! Not only is she such a lovely person, she is truly amazing at what she does. She has a really good eye for detail, and captures the little moments so beautifully. We felt incredibly at ease around her (baby included!!), as her warm personality made it feel like having a really talented photographer friend over! I even picked up some new tips from Marie as a new Mum!! We're really pleased with our photos, and it meant a lot to share these incredible memories with our family and friends miles away!

WHAT DO MY FAMILIES SAY?I honestly cannot put into words how terrifically talented Marie is. Her photos are absolutely fantastic.
We hired Marie to do some shots of our family a few months after our second was born. I was adamant that we would capture this time, as I knew from experience how quickly the time goes. I had never hired a photographer before and was quite nervous and worried that the house wasn't tidy enough etc. From the minute she arrived, she instantly put us all at ease. She just has the best personality and way with people, especially little people. My 3 year old daughter loves Marie so much. She doesn't warm to everyone so this was an achievement in itself. It also made for great photos as she was so at ease.
This was undoubtedly the best investment I made so far for our kids. We loved working with Marie so much that we invited her back for the christening and I just adore the shots she got. Marie has a real ability to know what's important, without even really asking. Her attention to detail and creativity is second to none. The only criticism I have is that it is so hard to pick only 80 photos for an album. I love them all!

FAQ
Do you have availability this summer?
My summer dates (May - Aug) book up very quickly, so please fill out all the fields so that we can make sure to find a date, time and plan for your photo session!
When is a good time for a photo session in Ireland?
I always suggest getting together after you’ve had food. Everyone is happier with a full belly. So, after breakfast, after lunch, or after dinner. If we are doing a DITL then I’m there as soon as you want me, but other than that - my favourite time for family photos is in the morning or right before sunset. (Ireland has short days in the winter and long days in the summer, so timing changes monthly)
What if it rains during our photo session?
Well, it’s Ireland. Chances are, it will rain at some point. However, we can have an alternative location, wait it out, or simply throw on some coats and wellies and have fun in the rain!
What will I wear?
Layers. Layers. Layers. (And have a change of clothes) Other than that, anything you want. Unless your shirt says something important like “Be the Change”, avoid words and logos, but other than that, if you’re comfortable and you feel like you, then wear it!
Will we get some traditional family photos with people looking at the camera?
Of course! If you want them. The Location Session has a more guided approach and that comes with a few more traditional photos. In every session, there is always a moment when everything comes together and I say, “OK everyone, let’s all stand together & look at me!” and maybe we’ll do some fun prompts like cuddles or tickles or simply walking - if you want them, I’ll take them! I will do my very best to get the photos you want most. That said, I will not spend the whole time organising “groups” or working through a long list of shots. Candid photos are what I do best.
What if it goes longer?
All my photo session times are approximate. I always say, if we’re having fun - why stop? I’m usually pretty good at knowing when everyone needs a break, or when it’s time to head home, but don’t be surprised if the time flies and we're together a bit longer than planned.
Is it ok to have grandparents or other family and friends in the photos?
I will photograph everyone. If they are with us, they’ll be in the pictures!
