Bringing home a new baby is a lot of… everything: work, emotions, change, love, excitement, exhaustion, it’s a roller coaster! A brand new baby is ridiculously precious, absolutely magical, and one hundred percent life changing.

In fact, that’s why photos at home are such a perfect way to celebrate your newborn - because this time in your life is unlike any other, and it only lasts such a very short time. Here are a few reasons why you should consider inviting a photographer to join you at home:

You don’t have to go anywhere

Yes, I realise that this is self-evident, but think for a minute. No trying to guess baby’s schedule, no worrying about being late, or if you have everything in the changing bag, or if baby will cooperate. You just get to be where you - and baby - is 100% comfortable and let the photographer worry about the rest.

There’s no place like home

Home is where everyone is relaxed, and feel most themselves, and when you are comfortable, and baby is comfortable, and when everyone is comfortable… it shows. Your pictures will reflect that feeling of peace and joy and beauty that you feel in those moments of calm.
